Our name is derived from two of our core principles, firstly creating great foods from local staples with minimal processing, thus “Rustik”.
Even the flours we make are made with special mill which grinds slowly, without heating up the grains. Regular mills have high speed grinders which create heat and cause oxidation, losing precious nutrients in the process. Our method is akin to the ancient stone grinders used for generations in India.
Secondly, all foods we make are made for nourishment keeping the nutritional needs of users in mind. Thus “Paushtiq” meaning nutritious in Sanskrit.
